Smart Solutions, Inc. was incorporated in June 1983 and has steadily grown market share in the IT infrastructure and services business. At Smart Solutions Technology Redeployment, our goal is to provide organizations with used computers and used computer hardware management services and solutions to meet their needs. With offices and warehouses in Cleveland, Columbus and Canton, Smart Solutions delivers comprehensive services to manage used computer hardware turnover and acquisition.

Managed Services

Smart Solutions helps its customers reduce PC ownership costs by managing the removal, re-marketing, and/or disposal of surplus or obsolete technology. We re-deploy used computers, peripherals, printers, monitors and network interface cards to the US used market and the international market in Italy, Macedonia, Hungary, or other East European markets. As products come off lease in the US or become obsolete by new technologies/updates, we will resell these items as they become available.

Technology Retirement Services

Smart Solutions has established a position as a leading vendor for helping large corporate computer users reduce the Total Cost of Ownership through effective management of the retirement phase of the computer life cycle.

The procedures required for all retirement services include auditing, testing, cleaning, re-installing software, boxing, handling and shipping. The hard drives are reformatted and operating system reloaded before shipment.

Equipment designated for disposal is shipped to the Smart Solutions Technology Renewal Center in Cleveland, Ohio for processing. Equipment received by Smart Solutions is individually bar-coded for process control and reporting by its site of origin. All equipment undergoes an audit process, which includes serial number verification, diagnostics and testing, and low-level formatting of hard drives.

Technical Services

Smart Solutions has developed a semi-automated testing protocol specifically for used systems, which provides a rapid, reliable indication of a condition of a machine. All equipment available to overseas customers is reconditioned and thoroughly tested per our rigorous quality control procedures.

Smart Solutions has developed production methods for processing large corporate consignments into high quality renewed systems, which are ready to place into the consumer's hands. Smart Solutions has over ten years of re-marketing experience, and has developed an extensive network of leasing companies and corporate customers disposing of equipment.
