Design

The strength of Smart Solution's network design is our engineering staff. Our Network Engineers and Senior Network Engineers have 200+ years of collective experience in the Information Technology field designing Local Area Networks (LAN's) and Wide Area Networks (WAN's). Our staff includes Cisco certified engineers, CNE's, MCNE's, MCSE's, and engineers with numerous other manufacturer certifications. We also have access to other experts in this field for large projects e.g. CCIE, Citrix certified engineers and similar. Our consultants training and expertise are both in the areas of business and technology. Their certifications range from MBAs to CCDA to MCSE and Process Automation.

Installation

Our attention to project requirements, standards, full testing and certification, and fully documented results will please you. Smart Solutions' staff is industry-certified and knowledgeable, and will always leave the work site clean and neat. We offer flexible hours to support your scheduling needs.

Smart Solutions provides comprehensive logistical support for hardware roll outs of any size. Our solutions include procurement, imaging, staging and redeployment of existing infrastructure. We specialize in the area of out sourcing and managing this for organizations that have existing internal capabilities in this area. For most large hardware rollouts, we will utilize existing corporate trucks and on-staff delivery technicians. We have managed roll-outs ranging for a few hundred workstations to over ten thousand over the period of twelve months. Our installation services also include the set-up of large geographically dispersed LAN/WAN implementations. Our experience in this area ranges from two sites to over one hundred and fifty.

Maintenance and Support

Smart Solutions Technical Services has experience maintaining all aspects of a network. We maintain servers, routers, switches, hubs, desktop computers, laptop computers, printers and a large number of network-based and stand-alone applications. Phone and on-site support is available up to 24 hours a day, 7-day a week.

Also, Smart Solutions provides short and long-term staffing to meet the needs of organizations experiencing spikes in technology personnel needs. This includes highly-skilled engineers as well as technicians.

Smart Solutions specializes outsourcing and managing the complete IT needs for organizations delivered on a service level agreement (SLA) basis. We have a strong track record of saving real coast and increasing the level of service significantly at the same time. Our approach in this area includes the use of live help desk services, web based call reporting, tracking and dispatch, remote monitoring tools and on-site support.

Cabling

Smart Solutions has extensive experience installing cabling of all of the major types, including unshielded and shielded twisted pair, multi-mode and single-mode fiber optic, coaxial and twinax cable, and serial cable. Regarding standards, we work with all telephone standards, thin ethernet, token ring, 10BaseT, 100BaseT, gigabit ethernet, FDDI, ATM, and others. Molex cabling carries a 15 year warranty while Leviton products are warrantied for life.

Training

Microsoft Certified Trainers are available to develop and deliver training to our clients. Classes can range from basic desktop operations to networking. All classes are tailored to the specific needs of the customer, which means that participants learn specifically about their network and quickly become more effective.

Our Columbus location offers four networked labs equipped with high-end computers, T-1 Internet connectivity, multi-media presentation stations, high-speed printing, and on-site techs. We provide free parking and optional catering services.
